On-Site Coaching:

A dedicated session where the behavior consultant provides direct coaching to teachers in the classroom or to parents at home.

Purpose of On-Site Coaching:

To ensure that the quality of training is consistently maintained in the classroom or at home.

The behavior consultant educates parents and teachers using skills based training strategies on what interventions will be used, what their purposes are, and expected results for these interventions.

The behavior consultant educates parents and teachers on not just how to identify the cause of specific challenging behaviors, and the specific interventions to either increase or decrease the behaviors but also how to implement interventions effectively.

The behavior consultant offers understanding, compassion, and empathy for what the family or classroom is facing to provide social, educational, behavioral, and emotional support.
